Crossing the Border
From page 39 to 61, the protagonist (Tim O'Brien), goes north towards the United States/Canada border, and debates with himself whether or not to actually go across the border. He gets within 20 yards of the border, but cannot force himself over the side of the boat and across the border. What would you have done. Would you have jumped? Would you have even gone to the border? Do you think O'Brien did the right thing?
